Opie Picture Evaluation

To make the Opie i had to firstly take a photo of myself.
Once i had taken photo of myself i opened it up into photoshop, once i have done this i created a new layer which i used to colour over with the brush tool.
with the brush tool i used the fade from middle brush with not mush hardness to give it soft edges.
I started off by colouring in my hoodie, i coloured the main part black and the tassels and hood outline white.
Afterwards i created a different layer for my face, my neck, my eyes and my hair highlights.
I used the same method in each layer just using a sample of the colour on my face then brightening it.
when i was colouring my hair i selected a dark grey colour to go over the top then i took a brighter grey to go over the top of the dark grey. Once i did this i then used the smudge tool to finish it off.
